Kathleen R. Fitzpatrick spent over a decade at some of the nation’s top law firms before founding KRF Legal. She has represented clients in state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey in all stages of litigation, including trials and appeals.

Kathleen worked her way up from the bottom, starting as a legal assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. She secured a merit scholarship at Brooklyn Law School, where she served as an associate managing editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law. Kathleen earned a position with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver, & Jacobson LLP after law school, and worked on a variety of complex legal matters, including antitrust, real estate litigation, and white-collar defense. She later joined Akerman LLP in the Consumer Financial Services group, where she successfully ran trials and argued appeals. She also speaks French and Italian.
